My neighbor and I have decided to start walking for exercise. She was wonderful at motivating me, but I really need to get some new walking shoes. My tennis shoes just aren't going to cut it.

If you are like me, you have made some bad choices with credit cards over the years. I've made the same mistakes numerous times. I get a credit card, I tell myself it's for emergencies only, and find myself at the mall, spending money I don't have. Then I pay it off and start over again, and again, and again.

I bought Jessica one of those cool Laptop Lunchboxes that seem to be pretty popular this year. I'm tired of wasting a paper bag and countless plastic bags each day, along with enough plastic forks and spoons to supply the local prison for a day's worth of meals. It's time to be a little more reasonable about all of this stuff. So, I bought the laptop lunchbox.Every single day she gets the same sort of lunch. I need to upgrade that for her and I need some ideas. Up until NOW this is a regular lunch for her:*pb and j sandwich*a bag of crackers/chips/etc (starchy snack)*a piece of fruit or fruit cup OR a veggie of some sort*a sweet treat*a bottle of water (again, more daily garbage)So please give me some suggestions as we need some alternatives. I'm buying more organic/lowfat-nonfat snacks and trying to eliminate the sweets slowly but surely, so any ideas in this direction are appreciated! What works for you?School starts tomorrow....
